Born into slavery and, at first, displayed against their will, the TWO HEADED NIGHTINGALE lived an extraordinary life suffering exploitation, kidnapping and seeing their emancipation leading to extraordinary education, musical and writing ability and ownership of their own success. Playing for the crowned heads of Europe and becoming a favorite of Queen Victoria, becoming one of the highest paid performers in the US and finally ending up back home in the South where they opened a school for African-American children, their story could fill the pages of a book.
We could not do this story any better justice than that done by Jada Hampton of The Uncle Junior Project.
